Software Asset Management(SAM)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • First point of contact for any service level escalation, P1 incidents in production
  • PC Software Procurement and Receipt Support, and Registration Assistance for Purchased PC Software Assets
  • Software Control Information Updates within the SLAM System and Ongoing Software Optimization
  • Guidelines for Distributing PC Software Based on Criteria and Support for Reconciliation, Including Handling Urgent Requests (e.g., Data Extraction).

ADVANTAGE TO HAVE

  • IT Asset Management (ITAM) experience, including Software Asset Management (SAM)

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

  • Mandatory for onsite positions to be fluent in Korean, and able to converse in English languages.

MUST HAVE

  • Experience in Asset Management or Software development environment
  • Experience with implementation of Agile techniques and SCRUM

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Experience working with desktop, Windows and UNIX server software licensing.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL v3 and ISO 19770
  • Experience working with SAM tools and technology.
  • Possess IAITAM Certification or ITIL V3 Foundation Certification or equivalent process implementation experience.

IMPORTANT

  • Familiarity with asset management software and/or inventory tracking systems
  • SAM process and tool knowledge
  • Working location is Suwon Samsung Electronics (Near Mangpo Station, 수원 망포역 근처)
