Job Description:

Job Description – Outlook Add-in & Cloud Migration:

  • Architected and developed a cross-platform Outlook Add-in (Classic & Modern) using Office.js for automated meeting cost calculation.
  • Built responsive UI components using HTML, JavaScript, ensuring seamless integration with Outlook clients.
  • Designed and implemented RESTful APIs using .NET 8 Web API to handle business logic, including attendee-based cost computation and recurrence handling.
  • Integrated with Microsoft Graph API to fetch meeting details, organizer information, and perform distribution list expansion.
  • Implemented secure authentication using MSAL and Azure App Registration, enabling SSO-based access to APIs.
  • Designed and optimized SQL Server database objects (tables, views, stored procedures) for efficient cost calculation and rate card management.

 

Cloud Migration Responsibilities

  • Planned and executed migration of existing application components (Outlook Add-in, APIs, and database) from on-premises to Microsoft Azure.
  • Deployed backend services to Azure App Service, ensuring scalability and high availability.
  • Migrated database to Azure SQL Database, optimizing schema and performance for cloud environment.
  • Implemented CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated build and deployment.
  • Managed Azure resources including App Services, Storage, and configuration settings.
  • Configured Azure Key Vault for secure storage of secrets, connection strings, and API credentials.
  • Ensured proper authentication and access control using Azure AD.
  • Monitored application performance and availability using Azure monitoring tools and implemented improvements.
