Type of contract: Contract of Employment

Working hours: Regular working hours, from 9am till 5pm CET, from monday till friday

Location and Work Mode: Gdansk or Warsaw, hybrid module of work 2/3 days from the office.

We are looking for an experienced ServiceTheater Developer to design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performing enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and modern web technologies, along with hands-on experience in databases and microservices architecture. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge platforms and contribute to building innovative solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.

  • Implement RESTful web services and microservices architecture for scalable solutions.

  • Work on UI/UX components using JavaScript, jQuery, and frameworks like AngularJS or React (desirable)

  • Develop and optimize queries for MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL databases.

  • Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ensure smooth deployment processes.

  • Work with Unix/Linux environments, including Tomcat, Apache, and JBoss administration.

  • Exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure for cloud-based deployments.

  • Basic understanding of server, storage, and networking concepts is a plus.

  • Utilize scripting languages like Unix Shell, Python, or Ruby for automation tasks.

  • Apply advanced knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design (OOA/OOD) principles.

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of hands-on development experience in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise application design.

  • Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).

  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and application servers like Tomcat, Apache, or JBoss.

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with front-end frameworks (AngularJS, React) for UI development.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

  • Scripting experience in Python, Ruby, or Unix Shell.
