Job Description: 

Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating them into well-defined user stories with acceptance criteria, and supporting the testing and validation process to ensure successful delivery of business solutions

Key Responsibilities͏

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and SMEs to gather and analyze business requirements.
Document functional and non-functional requirements clearly and comprehensively.
Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria in tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Facilitate requirement walkthroughs and story refinement sessions with cross-functional teams (development, QA, and design).
Support the creation of test scenarios and test cases aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
Participate in UAT planning and execution, ensuring that delivered functionality meets business expectations.
Work closely with QA teams to validate test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain traceability between requirements, design, development, and testing artifacts.
Assist in process documentation, workflow mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely communication

Qualifications͏

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or software development projects.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
Proven experience in writing clear and testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Experience collaborating with QA teams on test planning, execution, and defect management.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications͏

Experience in Payroll, HR, or Financial systems (if relevant to your project).
Familiarity with data analysis, SQL, or reporting tools for validation purposes.
Certification in CBAP, CCBA, or Agile Business Analysis is a plus.

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
