Job Description
The Project Lead / Coordinator will serve as the onsite bridge between Data Center Ops programme leads and external technical teams. The role ensures operational consistency through work assignment, prioritisation, global coordination, status and milestone tracking, quality assurance, technical and code reviews, issue management, reporting and continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary liaison between programme leads, internal stakeholders and globally distributed external technical resources.
- Manage work intake, task assignment, prioritisation, resource coordination, dependencies and delivery commitments.
- Provide centralised programme management across time zones.
- Coordinate regional handovers and ensure continuity of global operational support.
- Lead delivery governance, sprint planning, backlog reviews, daily coordination, milestone tracking and status reporting.
- Track delivery progress, risks, issues, defects, dependencies, decisions and action-item closure.
- Maintain programme dashboards covering resource capacity, sprint velocity, milestones, quality.
- Enforce technical playbooks, internal QA standards, peer reviews and code-review requirements.
- Review technical deliverables for completeness, quality, traceability and deployment readiness.
- Coordinate resolution of bugs, tooling issues, data-quality concerns and operational escalations.
- Support requirement clarification, user-story development and translation of business needs into actionable technical work.
- Drive process standardisation, automation, data governance and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate onboarding, knowledge transfer and operational readiness of technical resources.
- Communicate concise programme status, risks, decisions and escalations to leadership and stakeholders.
- 5+ years of data-management experience, preferably using the Google software development stack, tools and processes.
- Experience as a Technical Lead, Project Lead, Delivery Lead or Programme Coordinator in a comparable role.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Go or Java.
- Experience leading globally distributed technical teams and concurrent workstreams.
- Working knowledge of data engineering, analytics, BI, cloud platforms, Agile and SDLC practices.
- Strong stakeholder management, technical coordination, written communication and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with Google-internal development infrastructure and workflows, including g4/CitC, Piper, Blaze and Critique.
- Experience with Google Sheets, Google Apps Script macros and spreadsheet workflow automation.
- Experience with AI tools such as Gemini, OpenAI, Claude or Microsoft Copilot.
- Basic understanding of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Experience using fping, traceroute and network utilities within specialised routing namespaces.
- Familiarity with data analysis, operational reporting and PLX dashboards.
- Exposure to data-centre operations, telemetry infrastructure and power-monitoring environments

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $173,800 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
