Role Overview
We are looking for a Manufacturing Test Software Engineer with strong experience in developing and supporting automated test software used in manufacturing environments. The engineer will develop, enhance and troubleshoot test solutions used to validate optical and electronic hardware products.
This is a highly specialised role requiring a blend of:
- Test automation
- Software development
- Hardware/instrument integration
- Manufacturing test engineering
The engineer will work closely with manufacturing teams across the US and Asia to support production testing and deployment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and debug automated manufacturing test software.
- Design and maintain LabVIEW-based production test applications.
- Integrate LabVIEW with Python scripts and MATLAB algorithms.
- Develop software used to control and communicate with test instruments.
- Perform data acquisition, analysis and test optimisation.
- Support and enhance existing production test code with limited documentation.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing test failures and drive root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams in the US, Thailand and China.
- Create technical documentation and software architecture documentation.
- Support deployment of test solutions into production environments.

Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $148,500 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
