Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure,
automation, container orchestration, and CI/CD implementation. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for designing, provisioning, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud environments
while ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
Mandatory Technical Skills
• Kubernetes – Cluster setup, deployment strategies, scaling, troubleshooting
• Ansible – Configuration management and automation playbooks
• Terraform – Infrastructure as Code provisioning
• Unix & Python Scripting – Automation and operational scripting
• AWS – Cloud architecture and service management
• CI/CD – Pipeline design and automation
• Docker – Containerization and image management
Core Requirements
• Python scripting for automation and API integrations
• AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers
• Kubernetes cluster management and deployment strategies
• Ansible playbook development and environment provisioning
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
• Infrastructure monitoring using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
• Environment build-out for Dev, QA, and Production
Required Skills
• Unix Shell Scripting (Bash/Shell)
• AWS EC2 instance management and scaling
• Performance tuning and optimization
Nice to Have Skills
• AWS IAM advanced access management
• GitHub advanced workflows and GitHub Actions
• GoLang for infrastructure tooling
• Microservices architecture
• Puppet configuration management
Technical Proficiencies Expected
• Strong Linux/Unix command-line proficiency
• Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• CI/CD pipeline architecture and implementation
• Docker and container lifecycle management
• Cloud networking and security best practices
Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $173,800 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
