Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Selenium (Java + Python).
  • Implement and execute API testing using REST Assured (Java) and Pytest (Python) frameworks.
  • Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins and Git for continuous validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, define test strategies, and ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Work with Test Management tools such as ALM, JIRA to plan, track, and manage testing activities.
  • Perform database validations by writing and executing complex SQL queries.
  • Participate in code reviews, triage sessions, and defect analysis, driving root-cause identification and closure.
  • Contribute to performance, scalability, and security testing initiatives.
  • Explore and leverage AI-driven testing tools to optimize test efficiency and predictive quality assurance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python).
  • Proficiency in API testing with REST Assured and Pytest.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation integration with Jenkins.
  • Experience in version control with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
  • Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools: ALM, JIRA.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/Database testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, debugging, and root-cause analysis abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes and applications.
  • Exposure to AI-based testing tools and frameworks.
  • Experience in cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and DevOps practices.

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $148,500 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
