Job Description
Location - Louisville, KY ( 5 Days WFO)
• Design and implement enterprise‑grade data architectures across Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse environments (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Delta Lakehouse).
• Translate business goals and strategies into long‑term data architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with Humana’s operational and analytics needs.
• Act as the primary liaison to business stakeholders, understanding their priorities and owning data product delivery end‑to‑end.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Develop blueprints for data repositories, schemas, and integration pathways that support scalable analytics workloads.
• Establish and enforce data modeling standards, metadata practices, and governance controls across platforms.
• Architect and oversee ETL / ELT pipelines using Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI Dataflows, and other orchestration tools.
• Evaluate reusability of existing data assets and improve data quality by eliminating duplicates, unused datasets, and legacy structures.
• Build dimensional database schemas and implement scalable semantic models required for enterprise reporting.
• Lead efforts to prepare, cleanse, structure, and optimize data for analytics, business reporting, KPI development, and insights generation.
• Ensure data accessibility, lineage, and observability, driving operational excellence and consistency across all data environments.
• Provide architectural guidance and thought leadership to engineers, analysts, and partner teams on best practices in data design and platform usage.
• Independently make decisions on complex data challenges and determine the best technical approaches with minimal supervision.
• Influence department or domain‑level strategy by recommending modern data architecture patterns, standards, and modernization pathways.
• Own delivery of data initiatives end‑to‑end — from requirement intake to deployment — ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and smooth execution.
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
