Data centre Lead
The Data Centre Lead is accountable for end‑to‑end data centre operations, including infrastructure management, space planning, power & cooling, DCIM administration, IMAC activities, vendor coordination, and site governance. The role ensures high availability, compliance with design standards, operational efficiency, and SLA adherence across data centre and office environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data centre operations covering network cabling, racks, power, cooling, and physical infrastructure.
- Manage IMAC activities (install, move, add, change, decommission) including equipment installation, labeling, documentation, and DCIM updates.
- Own DCIM (StruxureWare) accuracy: device inventory, floor plans, capacity data, licenses, and forecasting.
- Perform space, power, and cooling capacity planning at rack, PDU, RPP, UPS, and site levels.
- Ensure compliance with design standards, including A/B redundancy, labeling, testing, and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, contractors, logistics providers, and facilities for installations, power adds, deliveries, and site work.
- Oversee hardware lifecycle management, including decommissioning, recycling, data destruction, and inventory control.
- Support office cabling and IT hands‑and‑feet services, including break/fix and minor projects.
- Participate in capacity planning, CAB, resiliency, audit, and business continuity activities.
- Provide 24×7 on‑call support and act as the site escalation point.

Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise data centre operations or infrastructure roles
- Strong hands‑on exposure to power, cooling, cabling, racks, and DCIM tools
- Experience working with global teams, vendors, and facilities organizations
- IT Infrastructure / Data Centre certifications preferred
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
