Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner
The Business Analyst / Product Owner will play a critical role within Treasury & Payments platforms, acting as the primary interface between business stakeholders, product managers, and technology delivery teams.
The role is responsible for owning product requirements, managing the backlog, and driving end‑to‑end delivery of payment capabilities that support large‑scale, high‑volume, mission‑critical banking operations.
The candidate must bring strong domain expertise in Payments, experience working in regulated financial environments, and the ability to deliver complex initiatives across multi‑year transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities͏
Business Analysis & Product Ownership
- Serve as Product Owner / Senior BA for Treasury & Payments initiatives, owning functional scope and backlog
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and challenge business requirements from stakeholders with a strong focus on payment processing accuracy, resiliency, and straight-through processing (STP)
- Translate complex business needs into Initiatives, Epics, Features, and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Drive backlog prioritization in alignment with business priorities, regulatory commitments, risk posture, and release plans
Treasury & Payments Domain Delivery
- Payment initiation, validation, enrichment, routing, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
- Payment rails such as Wire, ACH, SWIFT, RTP, and real‑time / cross‑border payments
- Message standards including ISO 20022 and legacy MT formats
- Exception handling, investigations, and payment lifecycle controls
Solution & Architecture Collaboration
- Partner with product, architecture, and engineering teams to shape functional solutions
- Contribute to solution design with a focus on scalability, resiliency, reusability, and performance
- Drive business‑aligned architectural decisions supporting time‑to‑market and platform modernization
- Contribute to strategic Treasury & Payments technology roadmaps
- Operate confidently in client‑facing and audit‑sensitive environments
Qualifications & Skills͏
Domain & Functional Expertise
- Strong experience in Treasury & Payments within a Tier‑1 banking environment (mandatory)
- Proven experience as Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner on large banking platforms
- Deep understanding of Financial Services regulations, controls, and risk considerations
- Hands‑on experience in Agile / Scrum delivery models
Tools & Technology
- Extensive experience with Jira for backlog and delivery tracking
- Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and payment validation
- Familiarity with Agile PM and collaboration tools
Experience & Education
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis / Product Ownership
- Prior experience leading requirements reviews, quality inspections, and solution walkthroughs
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field

Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
