Part of the Web and App Runtimes team within TA SE Web, reporting into the platform lead. The candidate must have the ability to deliver strategic Web related solutions for the bank, supporting, migrating the global Web Service with specialization in NGINX, TOMCAT, JBOSS EAP, WebSphere, Ansible, Azure DevOps and IIS – will be part of 24*7 support team with night shifts. |

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Strategy and Standards • Support Web provisioning activities that are linked directly to Web and Middleware Perspective. • Install, Configure, Troubleshoot, Provide RCA for repeated incidents. • Support Incidents, Change, Problem and new server deployments with middleware deployments. • Remediate Security Vulnerabilities and Patch middleware components to keep softwares up to date. • Write scripts to automate repeated activities. • Monitor and manage events, ensure self-healing techniques are implemented, scripts are written to automate repeated events/failures. • Configure High availability Clusters and deploy vulnerable free web infrastructure. • Create Clusters and Configure highly available JBOSS EAP, JBOSS TOMCAT, RHEL TOMCAT, RHEL HTTP and Liberty Base. • Certificate lifecycle management in standard web products like EAP, HTTP Servers and IBM Liberty. • Follow Engineering Standards for WebSphere, JBOSS EAP, IIS, Tomcat and JEE & .NET related application server technologies.

2. Support Infrastructure • Fine tune Infrastructure. • Design and build the infrastructure required to support the Web Service. • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and techniques. • Gather infrastructure requirements from stakeholders and deliver solutions to match. • Recommend and maintain standards for monitoring and event management.
3. Consulting • When required, provide consulting service for initiatives requiring expert Web advice. • Keep current with new technical developments for potential use as solutions to requirements. • Have regular knowledge transfer sessions with Web Service stakeholders including Web Support team members.

4. Stakeholder Management • Maintain effective relationships and deal openly with all key stakeholders, considering the needs of all stakeholders and influence decisions which, in the long term, are positive for customers and clients, shareholders, colleagues and the communities in which SCB operate. • Understand technical constraints of live environment / architecture, support business clients in understanding any ‘requirement versus cost’ trade-offs.
