Job Title: Android Architect & AI Integration Leader

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Android Architect with 20+ years in software engineering, including 12+ years in mobile product development and AI integration. The ideal candidate will set architectural direction, lead cross-functional teams, and drive the adoption of emerging AI technologies in large-scale consumer and enterprise mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement scalable Android solutions with a focus on AI-first features and hybrid on-device/cloud inference strategies.
  • Lead technical strategy and roadmap for Android platforms, ensuring performance, privacy, and measurable user impact.
  • Foster an engineering culture that emphasizes Spec Driven Development, agentic workflows, and cross-team velocity.
  • Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver modern, maintainable mobile architectures.
  • Drive quality engineering, stability, and monetization initiatives across high-traffic mobile applications.

Required Skills:

  • Deep expertise in Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin, Java, and modern app architectures (MVI, MVVM, Redux, Clean Architecture).
  • Strong background in AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, Copilot) and frameworks (Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Orchestration).
  • Experience with cloud and on-device AI integration, performance optimization, and mobile security (Samsung Knox, MDM).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso), and analytics (Splunk, BigQuery).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Mandatory Skills: GenAI Consulting for Apps & Infra .

 

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
