Engineering Architect responsible for designing and evolving a large-scale simulation-driven validation platform for autonomous systems testing, covering simulation, scenario operations, automation, data, AI/ML, analytics, and triage workflows. Lead the architecture, design, and evolution of a large-scale simulation-driven validation platform for autonomous systems testing. Define the end-to-end technical architecture across key layers including: Simulation platforms, Scenario pipelines, Scenario generation frameworks, Data workflows, Test automation and Triage and analytics workflows. Design and operationalize the Behavior Test Engineering (BTE) ecosystem to support validation of autonomous systems at scale. Build and mature Scenario Operations capabilities, including scenario creation, execution, monitoring, triage, and reporting. Provide architectural direction for simulation-based testing using platforms and frameworks such as CARLA, LGSVL, ROS/ROS2, or similar technologies. Guide the adoption and usage of scenario standards such as OpenSCENARIO and OpenDRIVE for structured scenario-based validation. collaborate with engineering, validation, data, AI/ML, automation, and operations teams to ensure alignment across platform design and execution. Define scalable workflows for simulation execution, test result analysis, defect triage, and validation analytics. Support integration of AI/ML pipelines, including model training, inference workflows, and data-driven validation loops. Drive platform scalability, reliability, repeatability, and automation to enable high-volume autonomous systems testing. Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, best practices, and roadmap guidance for simulation and validation platform evolution. 10+ years of experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or simulation-heavy systems; expertise in CARLA, LGSVL, ROS/ROS2, OpenSCENARIO/OpenDRIVE, scenario generation, simulation validation, AI/ML pipelines, data analytics, automation, and platform architecture. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive/Computer Science/Electronics/Robotics/Mechanical
Experience: >10 YEARS .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $220,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
