Telematics Validation Engineer (Japanese speaking)
Location: San Francisco, CA or Novi, MI
$80-$110K
Key Responsibilities
• Perform end to end Telematics system testing, including functional, integration, and validation testing
• Execute and analyze vehicle data logging for telematics and connected vehicle use cases
• Operate and support ELVIS (Electronic Vehicle Information System) for data acquisition, diagnostics, and validation activities
• Validate telematics features such as connectivity, diagnostics, remote services, OTA readiness, and data transmission
• Collaborate with Japanese OEM, Novi (Michigan) teams and California based engineering resources for issue triage and resolution
• Interface with Japanese OEM teams, ensuring clear communication, requirement understanding, and defect tracking
• Support test planning, execution, defect reporting, and root cause analysis
• Prepare test reports, logs, and technical documentation for internal and OEM reviews
• Participate in vehicle testing, bench testing, and field validation activities as required
Mandatory Skills & Experience
• Strong understanding of Automotive Telematics systems
• Hands on experience in Telematics testing and validation
• Expertise in vehicle logging, data capture, and analysis
• Practical experience with ELVIS operation
• Experience working with cross location teams (US based preferred)
• Prior exposure to or direct experience with Japanese OEMs
• Ability to work in a customer facing, multi stakeholder environment
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
