Job Description: 

Work Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)

 

Job Description:

  • Develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications with integrated SQL database solutions.
  • Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas to support application requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements.
  • Implement database connectivity using JDBC, Hibernate, or other ORM frameworks.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization in database operations.
  • Debug and resolve application and database-related issues.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation for applications and databases.

 

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java programming, including frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
  • Experience with database design, normalization, and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Understanding of version control systems like Git.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile development environment.

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
