Title: Vendor Manager

Summary:
The Vendor Manager is responsible for overseeing the entirety of the vendor lifecycle with Wipro vendors/partners, including vetting, contracting, onboarding, monitoring & auditing, SLA management, facilitation of QBRs, issue identification & resolution, change management, renewals, & offboarding. The Vendor Manager will be responsible for collaborating with business & functional owners in the management of vendors servicing each business/functional owner’s area of expertise, and will be responsible for educating business owners on vendor management best practices. In the performance of the respective tasks and duties adhere to all policies and procedures, department specific rules, annual educational requirements, Code of Conduct, client contract requirements, and all other federal and state laws. This role performs special projects as requested by Wipro CEO and/or Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This role is responsible for contract review, data analysis, developing reports, and conducting due diligence, and will interact with subject matter experts within the Executive, Compliance, Privacy, Operations, and IT teams.
Qualification:
- BA or BS degree.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas: Vendor Management, Health Plan Operations, Health Plan Compliance, Project Management and/or Managed Care Operations (Medicaid/Medicare/Affordable Care Act (ACA)/Ancillary Services/TPA firm)
- Demonstrate practical, real world, collaborative approach to problem-solving with the ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent work planning, project management and time management skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize and organize effectively in a multi-tasking environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
- Manage the full range of vendor lifecycle activities such as vetting/due diligence, contracting, performance monitoring, auditing, risk identification, issue remediation, renewals & offboarding
- Generate reporting as requested for use by management & business owners.
- Provide education and guidance to business/functional area owners on vendor management best practices, roles & responsibilities, and manage each party’s role as it pertains to vendor lifecycle activities.
- Monitor vendor compliance with regulations and carrier contractual flow-down requirements, conducting audits and instituting corrective actions, as appropriate.
- Monitor vendors’ implementation of corrective actionplans (CAPs) imposed on vendors as the result of any internal or external audits or due to the independent identification of vendor performance issues.
