Job Title: Teamcenter Application Manager
Location: Remote (travel required)
We are looking for a Teamcenter Support Application Manager to lead the support, customization, and enhancement of our Teamcenter PLM platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with a deep understanding of core PLM capabilities. This role will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, continuous improvement, and seamless integration with enterprise systems such as ERP and CAD platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Core PLM Support & Expertise
o Manage and support key Teamcenter functionalities including:
Parts & Components Management
CAD Data Management & Integration
BOM Management
Change Management
Supplier Collaboration
Enterprise Data Integration
• Configuration & Customization
o Configure and customize Teamcenter modules to meet evolving business requirements
o Ensure alignment with PLM industry best practices and internal process standards
• Troubleshooting & End-User Support
o Investigate, diagnose, and resolve Teamcenter-related issues
o Deliver Tier 2/3 application support and guidance to end-users and business stakeholders
o Maintain system uptime and performance, ensuring minimal business disruption
• Code Implementation
o Develop and maintain clean, efficient code using Teamcenter-specific technologies such as:
Java, C++, ITK (Integration Toolkit), SOA frameworks
o Support enhancements and new functionality development
• System Integration
o Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate Teamcenter with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise platforms
o Enable seamless data flow and automation across interconnected systems
• Solution Development
o Design and deliver custom solutions within the Teamcenter platform, including:
Workflows, UI modifications, reports, and extension modules
o Support ongoing innovation and platform optimization
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred
• 4+ years of experience supporting and developing within the Teamcenter PLM ecosystem
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, C++, ITK, and SOA for Teamcenter development
• Solid understanding of PLM best practices and enterprise system integration
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage technical escalations
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
