Job Description

Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to design and develop the user interface of a product/ application as per the customer’s/ business requirement

Do

  • Design and Development of UI for a Product/Application

    • Collaborate with Business Analyst & Product Manager for a better understanding of functional requirements, analysis, design document

    • Understand the requirements from UX Designer and use agile methodology to create static designs and interactive prototypes 

    • Implement features and create presentation layer in accordance with business requirements and UX specifications

    • Develop working prototypes from UI designs for cross-platform devices and ensure cross-browser compatibility

    • Develop and maintain new and existing product's screens by utilizing different technologies in creating component based responsive design

    • Ensure heavy use of Chrome Developer Tools + Firebug to ensure front-end code and assets were optimized and of high-quality

    • Ensure usage of color and font represent integrated brand perception and user experience

    • Collaborate with other user experience designers, UI software engineers and graphic designers to ensure a consistent and integrated user experience

    • Actively participate in design and code review to ensure that overall application is robust, bug-free and easy to maintain

    • Integrate best practices through competency development, multiskilling and by doing mandatory training compliance 
    • Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
    • Enable team member's knowledge sharing across teams and best practices
