Role Purpose:
To support data migrations from 3rd party systems into the ALPHA system in a timely and controlled manner. To provide subject matter expertise in the source and target data structures and support the data migration team. To conduct IT Study, data discovery, assess source quality and identify strategies for dealing with deficiencies. To gain assurance of the integrity and protection of the data throughout the migration. To contribute to the identification and analysis of underlying data problems that causes issues in production.

Role Accountabilities:
- Provide guidance to the other workstream migration specialists to deliver data migration services across multiple source system to ALPHA migrations, ensuring consistent approach across streams, compliance with ITGCs, and appropriate use of migration methodologies Design and implement appropriate migration controls to provide assurance on the integrity of the data migration and ALPHA data.
- Provide consultancy and technical expertise to Support the Migration team in working within clients data migration methodology.
- Act as the conduit between the IT Migration department and the business working with development, Products & Calcs, testing and other collaborators
- Transpose all input requirements and into Migration requirements in a timely fashion.
- Work with personnel in the source organisation to build understanding of the source data and the structure within which it is held. This will involve facilitating workshops and meetings.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the ALPHA data schema and update the ALPHA Data Dictionary as directed.
- Assist the migration team with the mapping of the source data to the ALPHA migration staging tables and resolve issues identified in a timely manner to ensure that there are no delays in the migration process.
- Support the data migration team in resolving mapping and migration issues and identify and alert the Migration Manager to new risks and issues.
- Assess the output of functional, calcs and data testing to ensure that the migration is accurate and meets go live criteria.
- Assist in the design and implementation of appropriate migration controls to provide assurance on the integrity of the data migration and ALPHA data.
- Identify opportunities for improvements to the data migration methodology
- Develop personal subject matter expertise in connection with each source system and share this knowledge with colleagues whom it could benefit
- Ensure that this knowledge is captured in a structured way, for example within a repository of data mapping documents to encourage reuse for the sake of efficiency and consistency

- Contribute to the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for their consultative role in line with RCSA guidelines.
- To actively review, understand and articulate risk exposure within IT escalating concerns appropriately to the Migration & Specialist Projects Manager.

- Contribute to and deliver data migrations to Servaada's client
- Ensure all business needs are addresses and transposed into the migration deliverable
- Deliver proposed additional data assurance processes which would bring benefit
- Responsible for the consistent delivery of service and projects in order to safeguard delivery now and in the future
- To proactively identify areas/processes for change to continuously improve the Migration process, customer outcomes and our organisation
