Responsibilities

• Thoroughly analyze Application Requirements Specification documents to align testing and delivery with retail domain specifics, ensuring relevance and precision.
• Develop comprehensive Test Strategies and detailed Test Plans, validating all test cases align with functional user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead execution of diverse testing phases, including UI, functional, system integration, smoke, end-to-end, production sanity, and parallel testing to ensure product quality.
• Design and implement API automation tests, enhancing efficiency and repeatability within continuous integration frameworks.
• Manage, mentor, and coordinate a multidisciplinary test team to optimize collaboration, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and present regular status updates and quality gate reports to clients and internal stakeholders, clearly communicating progress, obstacles, and resolutions.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, securing formal client sign-offs to affirm project milestones and deliverables.
• Maintain defect tracking and ensure timely resolution, establishing rigorous standards for quality assurance through proactive issue management.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings over 8 years of comprehensive IT experience, emphasizing testing in Azure-based custom-developed websites and integrated cloud solutions. We seek a professional with deep expertise and hands-on experience in retail application testing, including UI, functional, system integration, and user acceptance testing, alongside robust knowledge of SaaS environments and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products.

Key competencies include:

• Proven ability to construct detailed test strategies, plans, scenarios, and cases derived from functional and technical user stories.
• Demonstrated capability in leading test executions and managing defect lifecycles using tools such as ALM, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience managing and motivating testing teams within agile or hybrid methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps frameworks and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support automated testing initiatives.
• Excellent collaborative skills with the ability to work independently or as part of diverse teams, fostering innovation and problem-solving.
• Additional experience with industry-standard test automation tools and techniques is considered an advantage.
