Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support manufacturing test validation, test equipment deployment, board-level debugging, and production test activities in a manufacturing environment. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners to ensure successful test implementation, product quality, and manufacturing readiness.

Do

1. Support test validation and manufacturing test operations

a. Support new test stations and test equipment validation activities.

b. Assist with tester setup, qualification, and test validation.

c. Provide onsite testing support and DOE execution.

d. Coordinate with manufacturing partners to implement testing requirements.

e. Drive test equipment monitoring and management activities.

f. Troubleshoot tester, fixture, and production test issues to ensure manufacturing readiness.

g. Support production test yield improvement and issue resolution activities.

2. Debug and resolve hardware and software test issues

a. Investigate board-level test failures and perform root cause analysis.

b. Debug hardware and software related manufacturing test issues.

c. Support test fixture and jig troubleshooting and optimization.

d. Collaborate with engineering teams on test solution validation and implementation.

e. Provide technical support for manufacturing test execution and continuous improvement.

3. Documentation and reporting

a. Prepare test reports and validation documentation.

b. Track testing results and communicate issue status to stakeholders.

c. Maintain test procedures and support process improvement initiatives.

d. Ensure proper documentation of troubleshooting activities and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.

• 3+ years of experience in Test Engineering, Validation Engineering, or Manufacturing Test Engineering.

• Experience in board-level debugging and failure analysis.

• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and laboratory test equipment.

• Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes and production test flow.

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu or CentOS.

• Experience with Python, Shell, or similar scripting tools.

• Good communication skills in Mandarin and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MCU or FPGA programming and debugging.

• Experience with test fixtures and jig troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with production test flow and manufacturing environments.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
