Job Description

As part of this project, your role as Buyer will be to build and co-manage a strong relationship with our client organization and perform based on defined SLA and KPIs

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures timely processing of requests related to the procurement strategy (RFX/contracts, request validation, PO creation, PO amendments, and PO dispatch);
  • Provides support to internal clients in formalizing/describing their request or business area in the RFX process (context, requirements, expectations, budget, deadlines, etc.);
  • Creates, publishes, manages, and analyzes RFX; prepares technical and commercial summaries/RFX analysis; final supplier selection;
  • Contacts suppliers to collect necessary information for the RFX process;
  • Manages the Request for Quotation process, including contract negotiations;
  • Drafts contracts using templates, and handles contract administration and archiving in the required system(s);
  • Understands questions/issues raised by end users related to procurement operations;
  • Interacts with other teams involved in the RFX/contracting/PO placement process, monitors progress, and intervenes when necessary to complete assigned processes;
  • Manages non-recurring transactions;
  • Uses client systems relevant to the process;
  • Regularly updates reports regarding unresolved transactions and follows up consistently to ensure resolution;
  • Provides various reports (regular and ad-hoc);
  • Ensures SLA compliance and overall deliverable management;
  • Contributes to the onboarding process of new team members at the operational level;
  • Supports team members in clarifying and creating complex projects and events;
  • Maintains the process: creates and updates work instructions, manages process documentation, etc.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Good English and/or French language skills, written and conversational;
  • Bachelor's Degree;
  • BPO Experience of 4-year minimum;
  • Procurement Operations exposure would be beneficial;
  • High School Graduate/ University Graduate - Any Discipline
  • Basic Orientation in S2P operations, PR/ PO processes;
  • Typing / MS Office/ Key-boarding skills;
  • Experience of working on SAP, or Oracle, or ARIBA, or COUPA
