As part of this project, your role as a Procurement and Sourcing Specialist will be to build and co-manage a strong relationship with our client organization and perform based on defined SLA and KPIs.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage client relationships through providing daily operational support.
- Acts as the first contact to the client, communicating all relevant information and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for meeting SLAs as per SOW (Turn Around Time Targets for different business processes)
- Responsible for meeting accuracy of data as set by internal operations for the client.
- Proposes initiatives and process development activities.
- Participates in process training/ training updates as required.
- Update process documentation (SOP) whenever there are relevant changes in the process.
- Purchase request validation & execution of Purchase orders, including creation of RFQs (via email or the dedicated S4 transaction)
- Technical clarifications with business (beneficiaries)
- Negotiation - Responsible for achieving savings, payment term increase, preferred supply base and other procurement targets.
- PO Tracking & follow-up
- PO modifications (e.g. updating prices)
- Reports of PO data
- Managing supplier data & initiate supplier creation/update in the system, as required
- Regularly update managers and project teams with progress reports and dashboards
- Participates in project activities, testing, implementation, and education to business user

The skills & experience you need:
- Advanced English language skills (written, reading, and spoken)
- Advanced German language skills (written, reading, spoken)
- MS Excel – advanced user
- Highly Quality focused with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work on detailed repetitive tasks.
- Methodical with a process-oriented approach to work
- Excellent customer service / communication skills
- Self-motivating and able to prioritize own workload.
- Team player with a pro-active approach to work and an open and enquiring mind
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage job responsibilities in a virtual environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and influential skills
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal internal customers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- A bachelor's degree in any stream
- Experience in Procurement for at least 2 years
- Understanding of Sourcing activities, PR-PO lifecycle
- Experience using ERP systems – SAP - preferable
