Job Description

Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – SQL / Azure / Data Engineering

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong technical capabilities in SQL, Data Engineering, and Azure. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions while ensuring clarity, alignment, and high‑quality delivery across teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements

  • Ask insightful questions to fully understand business needs and data/reporting expectations

  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications

  • Communicate ideas, changes, risks, and issues in a simple and understandable way

  • Ensure alignment across stakeholders and maintain a shared understanding throughout the project lifecycle

  • Support data‑related initiatives, including SQL development, data pipelines, and Azure‑based solutions

  • Collaborate within an Agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong SQL expertise

  • Hands‑on experience in Data Engineering

  • Experience with Azure data services

  • Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

  • Experience working with data, analytics, or reporting environments

 

Nice to Have

  • Power BI experience

  • Background working in Agile teams

  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify issues or improvements

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
Mandatory Skills: Business Analysis .

 

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 100000 to CAD 150000 .
