Job Description

  • Azure and Azure DevOps Experience. Follow best practices for version control, CI/CD, and testing in data engineering. 
  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
  • Write clean, modular, and scalable code in Python (Databricks Notebooks) for data processing and transformation tasks.
  •  Work with large-scale structured and semi-structured data, perform data cleansing, and ensure data quality.
  • Collaborate with analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Implement and manage data lake and data warehouse solutions on Azure
  • Develop reusable frameworks and automation scripts to improve data processing efficiency.
  • Monitor, debug, and tune data workflows for performance and reliability.
  • Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Azure, Data bricks, Data Factory.
  • Strong experience with PySpark and Spark SQL for distributed data processing.
  • Proficient in working with big data ecosystems (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, HDFS).
  • Experience with SQL and working on relational databases.
  • Experience with cloud platform Azure especially with storage solutions like ADLS.
  • Knowledge of version control (Git), job orchestration tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory), and CI/CD pipelines.

 
Mandatory Skills: Azure DevOps .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 57000 to CAD 90000 .
