Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to facilitate application solutions by developing and  reviewing module-level codes, creating replication patterns, performing root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure stable, well-documented deliverables that meet business objectives.

Areas of responsibility

Gathering of requirements-Participate in gathering requirements for specific modules and ensure clear, structured documentation. Work across multiple business processes to capture linkages, dependencies, and required changes.

Solution Design-Facilitate creation of application solution designs for a specific module under the guidance of the Project Manager, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.

Coding and Configuration-"Review the developed codes, resolve technical queries of the team for the assigned module and create consistent replication patterns, to ensure that the developed code aligns with the project standards.Collaborate with project managers through all phases of software development life cycle."

Perform root-cause analysis to identify and troubleshoot recurring technical issues. Modify software codes to resolve errors, adapt to new hardware and software, enhance performance, and upgrade interfaces."

Implementation-"Collaborate with technical teams to validate configurations, facilitate integration of new applications, and address dependencies during deployment. Prepare user training documents and related frameworks to ensure smooth adoption new applications and minimize transition risks."

Key responsibilities : 

•                     Identify, design, and apply architectural patterns, such as Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Layered Architecture, to address technical challenges and meet business objectives.

•                     Ensure alignment between the chosen architecture and long-term business goals, scalability, and maintainability.

•                     Define API standards, data contracts, and protocols that ensure seamless interaction among services.

•                      Provide guidance to junior developers through mentorship programs and peer reviews.

•                     Establish code review standards to maintain high code quality and consistency across the team.

•                     Offer constructive feedback and foster a culture of continuous learning.

•                     Analyze technical options and make critical design or implementation choices under tight deadlines.

•                     Balance technical trade-offs (e.g., time-to-market vs. robust design) with strategic goals. 

•                     Champion Agile practices, such as Scrum and Kanban, to enhance team collaboration, productivity, and delivery.

    • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure alignment with objectives.
    • Effectively communicate technical concepts and decisions to executives, product owners, and clients.

•                     Develop and manage project roadmaps, aligning short-term deliverables with long-term strategies.

•                     Prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery

Mandatory Skills: Fullstack Java Enterprise .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 77000 to CAD 120000 .
