Job Description
- Perform hands-on testing within the Credit Cards functional area, including test planning, design, case creation, and execution to deliver quality outcomes.
- Bring prior QE experience in Mainframe and API testing.
- Provide QE leadership and feedback throughout design and development to ensure solution quality.
- Apply strong business and technical understanding to design efficient test approaches and tooling strategies.
- Use test data management capabilities to enable effective automated test data provisioning.
- Leverage engineering tools and practices to improve testing effectiveness.
- Contribute to the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of end-to-end test solutions.
- Partner with developers to define and validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Ready/Done.
- Apply BDD/TDD principles with a focus on value-driven outcomes.
- Lead proof of concepts to assess new technologies for faster, more secure testing.
- Follow enterprise quality engineering frameworks and methodologies.
- Ensure testing practices align with business needs, policies, and internal/external requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
- Use data-driven analysis to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and stakeholder experience.
- Lead or support remediation actions to address performance, risk, and governance issues.
- Manage relationships across business, corporate, and control functions to ensure enterprise and regulatory alignment.
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks as needed to protect the organization.
- Stay current on emerging issues, trends, and regulatory changes, and assess their impact.
- Promote a strong risk and control culture aligned with risk appetite.
- Contribute positively to team culture, communication, innovation, and business service.
- Share QE best practices and support knowledge transfer across the team.
- Continuously build knowledge of the business, tools, and methods.
- Keep stakeholders informed on project status and key day-to-day updates.
Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 100000 to CAD 150000 .
