Senior/Principal Solution Architect 

Capital Markets Risk & Reference Data (Java/Scala, Low Latency).
Lead end-to-end architecture and delivery of enterprise-grade platforms for Risk Technology, Reference Data, FX and Trading systems.
Design and build high-performance, low-latency, multi-threaded services with deep optimization for throughput, GC, and response times.
Own systems analysis, solution design, coding standards, and integration across complex n-tier, multi-platform environments.
Architect and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, normalize, and publish data from multiple internal/external sources (market/trade/reference feeds).
Build scalable data platforms leveraging Databricks/Spark/Hadoop and lakehouse patterns for enterprise data availability and governance.
Develop modern microservices and APIs using Java/Scala, Spring/Spring Boot, JPA/JMS, and RESTful web services with Swagger/OpenAPI.
Implement event-driven and messaging integrations using Kafka, IBM MQ/HornetQ/ZeroMQ, and resilient caching patterns (Hazelcast/ehCache).Deliver cloud-native solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP, including containerized deployments on Kubernetes/AKS and platform middleware (WebLogic/WebSphere/JBoss).
Drive database design, performance tuning, and data modeling across Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Vertica, Sybase, DB2, memSQL and related technologies.
Establish CI/CD and developer productivity practices using Maven/Gradle/Ant, Jenkins, Git-based workflows, and Agile tracking (JIRA/TestTrack).
Ensure quality via automated testing and engineering discipline using JUnit/NUnit/Mockito, code reviews, and non-functional validation.
Support regulatory and security needs in financial environments (e.g., secure development, compliance, auditability, data lineage and validation).
Act as a trusted consultant to senior stakeholders—translate business/regulatory needs into technical roadmaps, estimates, and delivery plans.
Required: 10+ years in software/system development (Financial Services & Public Sector), excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Mandatory Skills: Java-J2EE .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 57000 to CAD 90000 .
