Job Description

Lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise-scale data platforms leveraging Azure Databricks, Lakehouse architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
Define and execute enterprise data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Architect scalable data ingestion, transformation, and analytics solutions using Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud platforms.
Design and implement Databricks Lakehouse solutions utilizing Medallion Architecture, Delta Lake, and Delta Live Tables.
Lead large-scale ETL/ELT modernization initiatives, migrating legacy data ecosystems to modern cloud-based architectures.
Manage and mentor global, multi-shore data engineering teams, driving technical excellence, delivery quality, and professional growth.
Establish Agile delivery frameworks, roadmap planning, stakeholder communication, and engineering best practices across data programs.
Build and optimize distributed data pipelines using PySpark, SQL, Databricks, ADF, ADLS, Synapse, BigQuery, and AWS Glue.
Implement enterprise data governance, metadata management, data quality controls, and compliance frameworks for regulated environments.
Drive cloud infrastructure automation through Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Jenkins, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, governance teams, and architects to deliver strategic data initiatives and measurable business outcomes.
Design scalable data models including Data Vault 2.0, dimensional modelling, and domain-driven data architectures to support enterprise analytics.
Enable advanced analytics, AI, ML, Generative AI, and self-service reporting capabilities through modern data platforms and feature engineering frameworks.
Lead performance optimization, cost management, operational excellence, and production reliability initiatives across mission-critical data ecosystems.
Serve as a trusted technology leader, driving innovation, stakeholder engagement, cloud transformation, and enterprise-wide data platform strategy within banking and highly regulated industries.

 

Mandatory Skills: Solution Architecture .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 70/hr to CAD 85/hr .
