Job Description: 

Job Description

  • 6+ years of Design, develop, and maintain robust UI and API automation frameworks.
  • Automate web application testing using Playwright with Java.
  • Develop and execute API automation test suites using REST Assured.
  • Create reusable automation components following industry best practices such as Page Object Model (POM).
  • Perform backend database validation using SQL queries.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain test reports and dashboards using reporting tools such as Allure or Extent Reports.
  • Contribute to framework enhancements, coding standards, and automation best practices.

 

Required Skills

Automation Testing

  • Strong experience in UI automation using Playwright.
  • Excellent knowledge of automation framework design and implementation.
  • Experience with TestNG/BDD Cucumber frameworks.

Programming

  • Strong proficiency in Java.
  • Good understanding of OOP concepts, collections, exception handling, and design patterns.

API Testing

  • Hands-on experience with REST Assured.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, authentication, and API validations.

Database Testing

  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience writing complex queries, joins, validations, and backend data verification.

CI/CD & DevOps

  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of automated build and deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
Mandatory Skills: Playwright .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 57000 to CAD 90000 .
