Job Description

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr QA Automation Engineer with 7 years of experience in Java-based automation, API testing, and web/mobile application testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Rest Assured, Selenium, JBoss, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies. Familiarity with GitHub and strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

·                Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured.

·                Perform API testing and validate backend services using tools like Postman and Rest Assured.

·                Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

·                Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

·                Deploy and test applications on JBoss servers.

·                Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing for web and mobile applications.

·                Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

·                Document test cases, test results, and report bugs using standard tools.

·                Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.

Required Skills:

·                Strong programming skills in Java.

·                Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Rest Assured.

·                Experience with JBoss application server and Jenkins for CI/CD.

·                Exposure to GitHub for version control (good to have).

·                Experience testing web and mobile applications.

·                Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

·                Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·                Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

·                ISTQB or other QA certifications (optional but a plus).

·                Familiarity with mobile automation tools like Appium (optional
