Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Manager – Automation with a strong foundation in Java-based automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in automation scripting, framework design, and team leadership, while driving in-sprint automation and ensuring seamless CI/CD and DevOps integration. This role requires both technical excellence and strong people management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of automation engineers with 10+ years of collective experience, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust automation frameworks for UI and API testing
  • Develop efficient, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts for complex workflows and integration scenarios
  • Drive in-sprint automation execution using Selenium for UI testing and REST Assured for API validation
  • Implement and manage BDD frameworks using Cucumber, ensuring clear collaboration with business and product teams
  • Own source code management using Git/Bitbucket, enforcing coding standards and best practices
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Maven
  • Troubleshoot framework and execution issues, and build reusable utilities to improve test stability and coverage
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation strategies, test plans, and quality benchmarks
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases through effective test planning, execution, and reporting

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 77000 to CAD 120000 .
