Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and administer UC4 (Automic) workload automation systems
  • Design, develop, and maintain job schedules and automation workflows
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement timely resolutions
  • Manage and optimize Automic database components and related configurations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate automation solutions across systems and applications
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to users and stakeholders
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and ensure platform security and stability
  • Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, workflows, and operational procedures
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation efficiency and reliability

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with UC4 / Automic administration
  • Solid understanding of workload automation, job scheduling, and system integration concepts
  • Experience working with Automic databases (schema, performance, maintenance)
  • Proficiency in scripting (Unix Shell, Windows Batch, or PowerShell)
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, IBM Workload Scheduler)
  • Experience with SAP job scheduling environments
  • Knowledge of Python for automation, scripting, or integrations
  • Relevant certifications in UC4 / Automic or other workload automation tools
