Job Description

We are seeking an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Administrator at L3 level to manage, maintain, and optimize our private/hybrid cloud infrastructure. The role involves advanced troubleshooting, lifecycle management and design-level support to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of VMware-based software-defined datacenter (SDDC) environments.


•    Administer and manage VMware Cloud Foundation components including SDDC Manager, vSphere, vSAN, and Aria Operations and Aria Log.
•    Perform day-to-day operations of VCF environments such as cluster management, workload domain lifecycle operations, and monitoring health dashboards.
•    Execute LCM (Lifecycle Manager) upgrade and patching activities across the SDDC stack ensuring minimal downtime.
•    Design, configure, and implement VCF workload domains, edge nodes, security policies, and networking services.
•    Participate in scheduled DR drills to ensure the infrastructure readiness for the recovery during the disasters through SRM (Site Recovery Manager).
•    Troubleshoot complex issues involving compute, storage, networking, and cloud automation layers.
•    Collaborate with architecture teams for integration with backup, DR, monitoring, and automation platforms.
•    Implement and manage multi-site deployments, stretched clusters, and cross-cloud solutions.
•    Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerCLI & Python) for operational efficiency.
•    Ensure security hardening, compliance adherence, and best practices across VCF components.
•    Provide mentorship to L1/L2 admins, and act as the top-level escalation for incidents and problem management.
•    eate and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and runbooks for VCF operations.

•    Strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation 5.x administration and lifecycle management.
•    Advanced knowledge of VMware vSphere 8.x, ESXi, vCenter, and cluster features like HA/DRS.
•    In-depth understanding of vSAN design, stretched clusters, storage policies, and troubleshooting.
•    Hands-on experience with vRealize Operations (vROps), vRealize Log Insight, and Aria Suite components.
•    Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerCLI, Python.
•    Deep troubleshooting and performance optimization skills across compute, network, and storage.

•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
•    Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments. 
•    Excellent communication and documentation skills. 
•    Capability to interact with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
