Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Marketo (Adobe) Technical Specialist with deep expertise in marketing automation,
campaign operations, integration frameworks, and solution architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable solutions using Marketo and other Martech tools.
Key Responsibilities
Marketo Technical Expertise
Design, build, and optimize end-to-end automated marketing programs in Marketo.
Configure and manage Marketo assets including programs, campaigns, workflows, smart lists, landing pages, forms, and integrations.
Develop and maintain Marketo templates, scripts, tokens, nurture programs, lead scoring, and engagement programs.
Troubleshoot and resolve Marketo performance and deliverability issues.
Integration & Architecture
Integrate Marketo with CRM platforms (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc.), web applications, APIs, and third-party tools.
Implement REST/SOAP API-based integrations and data flows between Marketo and other systems.
Ensure data hygiene, data governance, segmentation, and sync optimization across platforms.
Campaign Execution & Optimization
Execute multi-channel campaigns including email, landing pages, events, webinars, and lead generation activities.
Manage A/B testing, campaign analytics, scoring logic, and nurturing workflows.
Analyze campaign results and improve automation processes for higher conversion rates.
Data Management & Governance
Manage lead lifecycle, lead routing, scoring models, segmentation, and audience management.
Maintain clean data processes, deduplication, GDPR compliance, and consent management.
Technical Documentation & Collaboration
Prepare technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and operational guidelines.
Work closely with marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure cohesive Martech operations.
Train and mentor junior team members on Marketo best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Marketing Automation, with minimum 5+ years dedicated to Marketo.
Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, campaign operations, and lead management.
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, email scripting, and Marketo tokens.
Experience with CRM platforms: Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP CRM.
Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and integration techniques.
Strong analytical skills with knowledge of reporting, dashboards, and data insights.
Adobe Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) certification preferred.
Good to Have:
Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud (AEP, Adobe Analytics, AEM).
Knowledge of other automation tools (Eloqua, HubSpot, Pardot).
Familiarity with SQL queries and data pipelines.
Experience working in Agile environments
