Role Overview
We are looking for a Visual Basic Operate Lead - Application Support & Maintenance. The Operate Lead is responsible for end-to-end delivery of application support and maintenance services as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). This role ensures high-quality service delivery, effective team management, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement across supported applications.
͏Key Responsibilities
Ensure delivery of services in line with the SOW, covering support and maintenance of in-scope applications.
Maintain high levels of application availability, reliability, and performance.
Allocate work across the Operate team based on priorities and skillsets.
Provide guidance on technical issues, processes, and best practices.
Monitor team performance and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
Track and follow up on issues related to local applications.
Ensure timely identification, analysis, and resolution of application problems.
Drive proactive problem management and prevent recurring incidents.
Coordinate with external vendors for Application issues and defects, System upgrades and enhancements. Ensure vendor deliverables meet agreed expectations and timelines.
Monitor, track, and report SLA and KPI performance.
Identify gaps and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
Provide regular service performance reports to stakeholders.
Provide timely and accurate updates to End users, Country IT teams and Country Lead. Communicate status of incidents, outages, and service improvements.
Provide application and process-level insights to the Incident Management Team.
Support drafting of major outage communications to business users.
Ensure communication is clear, accurate, and business-focused.
Continuous Service Improvement Identify opportunities to improve Service quality, Operational efficiency, User experience. Drive and implement service improvement initiatives.
Required Technical Skills͏
Visual Basic 6 (VB6)
ASP.NET (Web Forms / MVC)
SQL Server (Queries, Performance, Troubleshooting)

7+ years of experience
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Effective communication and stakeholder management
Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
Ability to manage multi-vendor environments

Indicative Gross Annual Salary: € 37000 to € 55000 .
Final positioning within the range will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria such as experience, skills, and role scope, in compliance with the applicable Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro.
