Location and Work Mode: Warsaw - client office, Hybrid 1-3 days from client office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Java 8+ and Spring technologies.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
  • Develop scalable microservices and support event-driven architectures using Kafka.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Work with MySQL and SQL databases to develop and optimize data solutions.
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Maven, and Jenkins.
  • Ensure application security, performance, and reliability.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot/Spring Framework.
  • Hands-on experience building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience developing microservices-based applications.
  • Good understanding of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
  • Solid understanding of HTTPS, SFTP, REST API, and SOAP protocols.
  • Experience working with Linux environments.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub, GitHub Actions, Maven, Jenkins, and Jira.
  • Competence in MySQL and SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
