Job Title: Java Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Location: Hybrid (2–3 days/week from client office)

About the Role
We envision a future where payments are seamless, secure, and accessible—anytime, anywhere. Our platform leverages flagship technologies like CyberSource and Authorize.net to deliver full-service Payment Management solutions, integrating global payment processing, fraud management, and payment security.

The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is seeking a skilled Java Engineer to join the Merchant and Acquirer Processing (MAP) group. This role is essential for maintaining the reliability and performance of our 24/7 systems that support merchants worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
Build deep expertise in MAP systems to support merchant operations.
Provide Level 3 support, including participation in on-call rotations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within defined SLAs based on priority.
Collaborate with development and product teams to improve release quality and reduce production issues.
Participate in post-release monitoring and validation to ensure stability.
Develop and test next-generation monitoring tools to reduce mean-time-to-detect (MTTD).
Automate production support activities to improve team efficiency and productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Software Development or Test Engineering, with hands-on expertise in at least one technology stack—preferably Java and related technologies.
Proven experience in building highly scalable web services.
Exposure to containerized microservices architecture is a strong plus.
Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implementing major components for large-scale projects.
Understanding of Disaster Recovery methodologies is a plus.
Experience working in Agile teams.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Keynote, and Grafana is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience working in fast-paced 24/7 environments is key to
