Job Description
The Lead Administrator L1 – Oracle Database Admin is responsible for leading front‑line Oracle DBA operations. The role focuses on monitoring, initial diagnosis, ticket governance, and escalation management while ensuring operational stability and adherence to standards.
- Work location: Warsaw – Client Office
- Work model: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
- Working hours: 02:00 PM CET to 10:00 PM CET

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Level 1 DBA operations, including monitoring Oracle databases and handling first‑level incidents and requests.
- Perform initial troubleshooting and resolution within defined procedures and SLAs.
- Manage ticket triage, prioritization, documentation, and escalation to L2/L3 teams.
- Ensure adherence to database operational standards, runbooks, and best practices.
- Perform routine operational DBA activities such as health checks and basic maintenance tasks.
- Support backup and restore operations through monitoring, verification, and early risk identification.
- Monitor Oracle Data Guard, RAC, and ASM environments and escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Drive continuous improvement in L1 operations to reduce repeat incidents and improve service quality.
- Coordinate shift handovers and ensure clear communication across support teams.

Key requirements:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting Oracle databases in a Level 1 or Lead L1 DBA role.
- Strong operational knowledge of:
- Oracle monitoring and alert handling
- Incident and request management processes
- Basic operational understanding of Data Guard, RAC/ASM, and RMAN
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to lead operational priorities and support teams effectively.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Oracle GoldenGate monitoring or basic troubleshooting.
- Experience working in enterprise or regulated production environments.
