The Lead Documentum Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of enterprise content management solutions using the Documentum platform. This role involves technical leadership, solution architecture, and hands-on development, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of Documentum-based applications using xCP, D2, and Webtop.
  • Architect and implement scalable solutions based on business needs.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
  • Guide junior developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and design principles.
  • Perform system upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop workflows, lifecycle management, and custom components.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data governance policies.
  • Support user testing, training, and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Documentum development.
  • Strong expertise in Documentum Content Server, DFC, DQL, xCP, and D2.
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, REST APIs, SOAP, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments, Apache, Active Directory, and SAN/NAS.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and cloud-ready architecture

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Documentum versions 16.x to 23.x.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and containerized deployments.
  • Knowledge of AngularJS, KnockoutJS, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
