Job Description:

Responsibilities

 

  • Perform upgrades in complex environments across both virtual machines and physical servers.
  • Execute and manage various firmware updates.
  • Set up and configure Linux operating systems.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Host Bus Adapters and Network Interface Cards for load balancing.
  • Cluster Management:
    • Setup prerequisites for RAC clusters.
    • Provide L3-level support for VCS clusters.
    • Manage VXVM and VCS service groups.
    • Understand and set up tools for operating system compliance.
    •  Prepare RCA documentation for incidents and issues.

Requirements

 

  • Knowledge about OS Compliance tools and its setup
  • Ability to configure & troubleshoot HBA and NIC load balancing
  • Knowledge of OS installation and configuration
  • Basic scripting knowledge and hands-on experience in shell scripting
  • Knowledge on preparing RCA
  • UNIX shell scripting & Perl scripting knowledge 
  • Exposure on RAC cluster pre-requisite setup.
  • Knowledge on VCS cluster L3 level
  • Knowledge on VXVM / VCS Service group
  • Basic Knowledge in Devops tools
  • Knowledge in Ansible languag
  • Flexibility with shifts and on-call support over the weekends or weekdays according to the schedule
  • Good customer handling experience and good communication skills
