Role: Test Lead Workday Finance

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for configurating and maintaining the software and other technological aspects of the project being run for the Wipro client

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to join our team and lead the testing efforts for our Workday HR implementation.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the testing efforts for Workday HR implementation projects.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality Workday HR solutions.
  • Identify and document defects, track their resolution, and ensure timely closure.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and business analysts.
  • Coordinate with business teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
  • Manage defect tracking and resolution processes.
  • Guide and support testing teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Test Lead in Workday HR implementation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday HR modules and functionalities.
  • Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) support, business coordination, defect management, and guiding teams.
