Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to bridge client's functional and technical requirements at the module level by assisting in outlining technical specifications, performing basic configuration, and troubleshooting initial system issues.

Areas of Responsibility

Requirement Gathering-Understand the functional requirements and assist in translating these into technical specifications.

Configuration and Customisation-"Assist in performing coding, configuration, and minor customisations as per defined design and development standards."

Technology Harmonisation-Support integration testing by validating interface behaviour and identifying basic issues.

Troubleshooting and optimisation-Support troubleshooting activities and help resolve basic technical issues related to performance or configuration of a specific module.

Documentation-Assist in preparing user documentation, configuration notes, and testing artefacts for a specific module.

Job Title: Power BI Developer
Location: Weehauken, NJ

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain data-driven business intelligence solutions. You will turn raw data into clean, insightful visual dashboards that help leadership make smart choices. You will work closely with different teams to find out what data they need and build reliable reporting systems.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Power BI and the Power BI Service

  • Create interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visual data stories from scratch.

• Build and manage strong data models, star schemas, and data pipelines using Power Query (ETL).

• Write efficient Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) queries and measures to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Tune slow reports and large data models for fast load times and high scalability.
• Check data for accuracy, consistency, and security, including setting up Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Talk with business users to understand their goals and turn them into technical report requirements

 

Mandatory Skills: Microsoft Power BI .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
