Position: Windows Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Windows OS Validation & Test Engineer responsible for installing the latest Windows OS builds, executing test cases on the same day, identifying issues, and coordinating with feature and triage teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Install, configure, and upgrade the latest Windows OS builds on test machines.
  • Validate a defined set of test cases on the same day of OS installation.
  • Identify test failures, blockers, and environmental issues promptly.
  • Communicate blocked issues clearly to stakeholders with proper documentation.
  • Collect relevant system logs (Event Viewer logs, setup logs, crash dumps, performance logs, etc.) for analysis..
  • Clearly communicate findings, impact, and reproduction steps in a timely manner.
  • Maintain proper documentation of validation results and defect status.
  • Strong experience in windows OS validation 
Mandatory Skills: Windows Platform Testing .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $121,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
