Role Purpose and Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Lead - L1 to join Wipro Technologies within our Technology Services division. This vital role centers around supporting and enhancing process delivery by ensuring the consistent daily operational performance of Production Specialists. The Technical Lead will be instrumental in resolving complex technical escalations and fostering the continuous development of technical capabilities among the Production Specialists team.

As a pivotal link between management and production teams, you will play a leading role in optimizing reporting processes and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Your expertise will contribute greatly to maintaining high quality standards while driving productivity improvements and innovation within the Workday Reporting domain.

This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.   • Core Technical Expertise Demonstrated ability to create and manage calculated fields, enabling the construction of complex and insightful reporting logic tailored to diverse business requirements.
    Data Integration and Reporting Deep understanding of Workday data sources and business object relationships, facilitating effective data extraction and integration for accurate and comprehensive reporting outputs.
    Security & Compliance Expertise in implementing report-level security and access controls, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
    Performance Optimization Proficiency in tuning and optimizing report execution to enhance performance, minimize response times, and improve user experience.
    Visualization & Insights Experience in designing and building interactive dashboards and scorecards that provide visual insights to aid data-driven decision-making across business units.
  • Beyond technical skills, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to collaborative teamwork and an eagerness to mentor and develop Production Specialists. Your role will be central to fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

Performance Delivery & Expectations

No Performance Parameter Key Measures
1 Process Management Effectiveness in resolving reported cases daily, adherence to standardized process protocols, quality assurance benchmarks, timely fulfillment of SLAs, alongside achieving favorable Pulse survey scores and maintaining positive customer feedback including NSAT (Net Satisfaction) and ESAT (Employee Satisfaction) indicators.
2 Team Leadership & Management Monitoring and enhancing team productivity and efficiency metrics, ensuring low absenteeism rates, fostering high engagement levels, and promoting a supportive work environment to sustain operational excellence.
3 Capability Development Oversight of technical triage completions, mentoring team members to improve technical skillsets, and evaluating performance through regular technical assessments to ensure continuous professional growth.

The role demands proactive communication with stakeholders at various organizational levels, continuous process improvement initiatives, and a commitment to upholding Wipro Technologies' values of client centricity, execution excellence, collaborative working, and learning agility. You will contribute to both the strategic and operational success of the TS - ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS group within the GROWTH practice, underpinning Wipro's goal to drive digital transformation and innovation.
