Server Administrator – Windows Server, VMWare Admin – L3
- Responsible for day-to-day administration duties including Windows Server administration and maintenance.
- Conducts complex troubleshooting and resolving issues on Windows, VMware services.
- Expert in Azure administration, ability to configure and manage the cloud resources and hybrid environments
- Administration and maintenance of Windows Server 2008-2019, Domain Controllers, user authentication and other operational systems as needed
- In depth knowledge of Windows Domain Infrastructure including Active Directory, DNS, ADFS, DHCP
- Configuration experience and manage Public Key Infrastructure, Microsoft CA
- Ability to manage, troubleshoot Exchange database(s), antivirus applications, messaging filtering, and error log tracking
- Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise level issues and outage
- Migrate environments to the latest generation of Windows Server (2016/2019) and Exchange 2013/2016/latest products
- Managing and maintaining VMWare Infrastructure (VMware 5.0 and above)

- Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of VMware ESX and related technologies.
- Virtualizing Windows servers and connecting them to networks and clouds.
- Designing and implementing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and enabling template management.
- Installing operating systems and service packs, as well as security patches and bug fixes.
- Troubleshooting and resolving VMware environment issues.
- Providing technical support and documenting VMware processes.
- Responsible for developing remediation and impact analysis plan of vulnerabilities for Wintel domain
- Managing, maintenance and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange Server 2013/2016/2019 and Microsoft 365
- Day-to-day operation of Exchange environments which includes change, release, performance, and availability management
- Maintenance of Windows / Exchange server software / security updates

- Solid understanding of Windows servers, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Manage file sharing permissions to monitor mailbox quotas/storage.
- Making sure that the incidents get resolved with the SLAs and ensure that the system goes through a scheduled patching process
- Implementing and configuring Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and other related applications.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide recommendations on Office 365 solutions to meet business needs.
- Managing user accounts and permissions within the Office 365 environment.
- Assisting with Office 365 migration projects, including data migration, user onboarding, and training.
- Monitoring and maintaining the health, performance, and security of Office 365 services.

- Certified in Microsoft Windows Environment, Active Directory (AD), Office 365.
- VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) preferred
