Role Overview

This Full Stack Developer Wipro role supports the world’s largest alternative investment management company, helping design, build and operate modern, scalable applications supporting portfolio management and fund workflows. It combines strong frontend development expertise in React and TypeScript with backend development in Python, AWS Cloud exposure and hands-on experience across APIs, microservices, relational databases and DevOps practices. The role offers end-to-end ownership across the application lifecycle, from solution design and development through deployment and production support, while delivering reliable, scalable and client-focused solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement front-end software solutions using React.Js andback-end software solutions using Python.
  • Actively look for opportunities to enhance and consolidate the system.
  • Document technical changes to the system.
  • Implement observability to track performance and alert about issues.
  • Enforce code quality by performing code reviews.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and use DevOps tools such as Terraform and Jenkins.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to collect and refine business requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Promote and implement development best practices across the team.

Experience & Capabilties

  • Experience: 4-9 years in software development with strong backend and cloud expertise.
  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python along with UI implementation and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP for application deployment and scaling.
  • Microservices: Proven track record in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
  • Databases: Proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills. Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve sophisticated issues.
  • Git: Experience with version control systems (Git), defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or similar), and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or GitLab CI).
  • Leverage AI-powered development tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent coding assistants to improve engineering productivity and accelerate delivery.
  • Contribute to the adoption of emerging AI-enabled software engineering practice specifically Agentic AI across the team in partnership with business.

3. Status Reporting and Customer Focus on an ongoing basis with respect to project and its execution

  • Capturing all the requirements and clarifications from the client for better quality work
  • Taking feedback on the regular basis to ensure smooth and on time delivery
  • Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
  • Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
  • Documenting very necessary details and reports in a formal way for proper understanding of software from client proposal to implementation
  • Ensure good quality of interaction with customer w.r.t. e-mail content, fault report tracking, voice calls, business etiquette etc
  • Timely Response to customer requests and no instances of complaints either internally or externally
