Job title - Android AOSP Engineer
Location - Dearborn. MI (Onsite) 
Salary $100K
Android AOSP APP & Framework developer
Good understanding of Android architecture, Framework and Android HAL Layer (preferably Android-O or later)
Experience in Android code base - Application layer (Java), JNI, Native frameworks(C), AOSP
Work experience in Android App Development (Content providers, Receivers, Android Framework/Managers etc.)
Good understanding of Android programming environment using Binders, Shared memory, IPC mechanisms, etc.
Debugging skills to troubleshoot problems in any layer of Android   
Good knowledge in Android Services/Framework layer and its debugging
Programming experience in Kotlin, Java
Preferably development experience in Android Infotainment systems (AAOS) for e.g. Navigation, Connectivity (WiFi, BT), Projection (Android Auto, Carplay) etc. otherwise work experience from Mobile or other Domains also ok but Android expertise a must
Preferably expertise in Vehicle Interface & knowledge on Infotainment systems
Preferably understanding of Automotive SoC architecture(application processor and Vehicle processor)
Tools: GIT & Gerrit, JIRA, Android source build system, Android debugging tools
Android Automotive or Android Mobile or Android TV AOSP experience are accepted by customer
Preferably development experience in Android Infotainment systems (AAOS) for e.g. Navigation, Connectivity (WiFi, BT), Projection (Android Auto, Carplay) etc. otherwise work experience from Mobile or other Domains also ok but Android expertise a must

1. Continuous Integration, Deployment & Monitoring of Software 100% error free on boarding & implementation, throughput %, Adherence to the schedule/ release plan
2. Quality & CSAT On-Time Delivery, Manage software, Troubleshoot queries, Customer experience, completion of assigned certifications for skill upgradation
3. MIS & Reporting 100% on time MIS & report generation

 

 

Mandatory Skills: Automotive .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
